FACE it: Ole Henriksen - Invigorating Night Cream and Pure Perfection REVIEW

Ole Henriksen Skincare

Ole Henriksen face care, $48
Ole Henriksen bath body, $45

I've been obsessed with skincare since sophomore year of college. While I thought it was just a phase I was going through, it turns out I'm still and moreso obsessed with it six years later. I've especially grown to love skin products that use natural ingredients because the thought of putting substances I can avoid on my face is kinda scary. That's where Ole Henriksen comes in.

I heard about this line and became absolutely interested because it's free of parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes, phthalates, GMO, and triclosan. While there's no immediate cause for concerns with these chemicals, the thought of putting something that's considered an antifungal (or can be used as a pesticide) (triclosan) on my face is a bit off-putting. However, triclosan is good in toothpaste where it can prevent gingivitis! It's just all about where you're putting it!

OK, so away from the tangent, I had previously tried Pure Perfection, the moisturizer. Being a jaded skincare consumer I tried it not really thinking it would do something. But I woke up the next morning and immediately my first reaction was to feel my face. GUESS WHAT? It was super duper soft and smooth. I LOVED IT.

Anyways, upon the advice of the Ole Henriksen twitter, I decided to try the Invigorating Night Cream as well. So I woke up the next morning and, again, instantly felt my face. It was soft and smooth. It felt and looked firm. There was even a glow! I'm in love!! So if you're looking for a new moisturizer to try, give Ole Henriksen a shot!!

Happy moisturizing!!

With hearts,
Janet
